About the role
Turner Hopkins is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Lawyer with approximately 1–2 years' PQE, or a qualified law graduate, to join our busy and supportive Civil Litigation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their legal career who is keen to develop strong litigation skills and gain hands-on experience across a varied range of civil matters.
Key responsibilities
Work across a broad range of disputes, including bankruptcy, insolvency, liquidations, debt recovery and civil litigation matters
Develop litigation skills through hands-on experience
Work as part of the Civil Litigation Team on varied civil matters
About you
Approximately 1–2 years' PQE, or has completed their law degree and is looking to begin their legal career
Some exposure to, or a strong interest in, civil litigation
Confident, organised and has strong written and verbal communication skills
Enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable dealing with clients
Positive attitude and keen to learn and develop
Can manage competing priorities while maintaining good attention to detail

This role would suit someone with experience in property transactions who is keen to further develop their expertise across a broad range of traditional private client matters, including Elder Law.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a Legal Executive or Solicitor with approximately 2+ years' relevant experience
Have experience in conveyancing and property transactions
Enjoy direct client contact and be confident managing client relationships
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
Be adaptable and willing to turn your hand to a variety of private client matters
Be a team player who values collaboration and collegiality
