Roya Shields

Roya was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2019 after completing conjoint Law and Health Sciences degrees at the University of Auckland.

With a background spanning law, investigations and insolvency, she brings a practical and investigative approach to her work and a strong grounding in case management, court documentation, evidence, statutory deadlines and the management of sensitive and time-critical matters.

Her investigative background also brings a practical perspective to debt recovery, particularly when working through complex factual issues and determining what is required to move a matter forward.

At Turner Hopkins, Roya works closely with the Debt Recovery team across the day-to-day management of recovery files, including client liaison, court and enforcement processes and matter progression.
