How do I know if I can be a franchisee?

If you are thinking about purchasing a franchise you must be able to accept the fact that while you will own the business, your independence will be limited by the fact that you will be required to comply with the terms of your franchise agreement and the rules set out in the Manual. You will also need to be ok with the fact that your ability to be creative in the operation of your business will also be limited for instance any advertising you wish to do will need to be approved by the franchisor. You may be limited in terms of the area (territory) in which you can operate your business.
