Beth Jones

Senior Solicitor

Beth has a natural flair of and love for the law, working to make it accessible for people and to assist them through whatever legal challenge they may be facing.

Beth’s expertise

Beth spent her early years in the UK and moved with her family to the Rodney region when she was young. Beth attended Victoria University of Wellington and returned to Auckland after university where she worked as a law clerk and then a lawyer in a well-established firm in her hometown. Beth joined the Turner Hopkins team in early 2022.

She loves getting stuff done! Whether it's finalising a settlement negotiation or obtaining a without notice protection order, it's so satisfying to see our hard work conclude and provide a good result for the client.

Which good causes are close to your heart? "I have been involved in a few volunteer groups, including The Howard League for penal reform while at university. I am currently part of a North Shore initiative, Tupu Ora which provides free legal assistance to people who need help navigating the family court system."

Outside of work Beth enjoys spending time outdoors having completed a handful of New Zealand’s Great Walks and keen to complete many more.
