Amy became a Registered Legal Executive in 2001 before taking time off to complete a Diploma in Dance and Theatre Arts. Amy has been with Turner Hopkins since 2003, initially as a secretary in the property and trust area of the firm, but within 18 months became the Personal Assistant/Legal Executive for senior partner, Mike Newdick. During the following years, Amy forged strong relationships with long-standing clients of the firm and gained significant expertise in property conveyancing, subdivisions and related funding activities. During this time, Amy was also the administrator for the firm’s Nominee Company.
Since returning to work from maternity leave in 2011, Amy has continued to provide legal services in property conveyancing and small and large scale subdivisions, including the free-holding of unit titles and leasehold land.
Amy has also been instrumental in completing the transition of the Solicitors Nominee Company to a Contributory Mortgage Company and is now the administrator for Direct Mortgage Investments Limited.
Never one to take things easy, Amy is also currently completing a Diploma in Conveyancing.
Amy still performs on stage, although more recently has been choreographer for a number of productions produced by North Shore Music Theatre at The Pumphouse. Amy is also a trustee of the Amici Trust which provides support for training and education within the performing arts arena in Auckland and elsewhere in New Zealand.
