Arran is a commercial lawyer who has been practicing since 2011.
After completing a Bachelor of Science, he worked as a technical business analyst, helping multinationals and city councils to modernise their procedures and workflows through better business practices and the use of technology. He then received his law degree from Auckland University and began practicing law.
Arran has developed a specialist understanding of technology and its legal implications. This has allowed him to provide additional expertise to both IT companies as well as to non-IT commercial companies where IT has become an essential part of their business. He has also spent significant time with franchise law, acting for both franchisees and franchisors. This work has included drafting franchise agreements, handling the sale or purchase of franchise companies, disputes and commercial leasing of multi-premises businesses. Arran is a member of the Auckland District Law Society Law & IT Committee, and has written several articles for ADLS Law News magazine.
"IT has become an integral part of modern business. Many businesses are doing their best to keep up with how technology is developing, but they often forget that their legal requirements need to be updated to match. I have that unique skill set of knowing both industries well, allowing me to understand your firm, your procedures, your IT and the legal requirements that are created. Let me assist you with your legal needs so you can focus on your business." firstname.lastname@example.org
