International Practice Group - IPG
Turner Hopkins is a proud member of the global International Practice Group – IPG. The International Practice Group is a not-for-profit association of independent lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and other professionals who cooperate to transact international business cost effectively and to the highest professional standards.
IPG was established in 1992 and now boasts 51 members (including 46 law firms) in 22 countries (a total of 1,235 lawyers).
The group has been established to be a resource for its members, to support their services to their clients. Membership is limited to those professionals who have reached a high standing in their own profession and are able to provide comprehensive legal or other services.
Member firms are carefully selected among highly regarded firms in major commercial centres, and are united by a mutual belief in response of high quality, partner led, cost effective advice. There is a particular emphasis on the solution of cross-boarder problems and all members are required to demonstrate experience in this field as an entry requirement.
Most member firms are smaller to medium sized, specialist firms which achieve personalised service for their clients.
Each IPG member firm offers to its clients:
- High standards of professional competence and integrity;
- Fast responses and first-class service;
- Fluency in English;
- Excellent resources and communication:
- Experience in dealing with foreign clients;
- Understanding of cross-boarder transactions and disputes.
Should you require legal services in any of the jurisdictions represented by the International Practice Group we would have no difficulty in introducing you to the appropriate member/practitioner in that country, commonly being someone personally known to us.
