Australia, South Pacific and South East Asia Relationships

New Zealand’s geographic proximity to Australia, the South Pacific and South East Asia, coupled with the open nature of the New Zealand economy creates an ever increasing need for trans-boarder and international legal assistance and relationships.  Turner Hopkins has established an ongoing relationship with a number of law firms throughout Australia, South Pacific, South East Asia and South Asia.  These relationships, which have been developed over a number of years, result in us being able to refer clients’ problems in those foreign jurisdictions to appropriate specialists with whom we are confident will be able to assist our clients as required in those jurisdictions.

Andrew Hooker has had particular experience in assisting companies throughout the South Pacific, including Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, Solomon Islands, the Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.  He has handled a wide range of cases for individuals and companies, as well as civil and personal injury claims, insurance work and assisting major corporations.  These experiences have resulted in Andrew developing a close network of associates throughout those jurisdictions and which can be called upon to assist our clients with their ongoing legal requirements in those countries.
